NICK APOSTOLIDES RETURNS AS LEON S. KENNEDY IN CAPCOM’S RESIDENT EVIL REQUIEM

On February 19th, Capcom announced that Nick Apostolides will reprise his role as Leon S. Kennedy in the upcoming release of RESIDENT EVIL REQUIEM, launching February 27, 2026, just weeks ahead of the franchise’s landmark 30th anniversary this March.

Apostolides returns to the role through full voice and performance capture, continuing a portrayal that has become closely associated with the modern era of the franchise. Requiem arrives just weeks before the 30th anniversary of the Resident Evil series this March, marking a major milestone for one of gaming’s most iconic horror franchises.

“As we approach the 30th anniversary of Resident Evil, returning to Leon at this moment feels incredibly meaningful,” said Apostolides. “It’s an honor to continue the legacy of a character who means so much to fans around the world.”

Apostolides previously brought Leon to life in the acclaimed remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4, as well as the Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness animated series. His performance in Resident Evil 4 earned him IGN’s Horror Fest Award for Best Performance in 2023.
