Synopsis: After inheriting her parents’ long-abandoned house, Abby uncovers a mysterious thirty-year-old camcorder hidden among a collection of videotapes. As she reviews the footage, she begins to unravel horrifying secrets tied to her family’s past—and a terrifying truth about the camera itself: anyone it records doesn’t just relive the past, they die. What begins as a disturbing discovery soon becomes a desperate fight for survival as the camcorder’s supernatural power refuses to stay buried.

Bruce Wemple is known for his work in the horror and science fiction genres as a director, producer, and writer. Working outside the traditional studio system, Wemple has developed a reputation for bold ideas, practical effects, and sustained dread, collaborating frequently with a close-knit creative team. His previous features, also released by Uncork’d Entertainment, include The Retreat, Monstrous, Dawn of the Beast, and The North Witch.

“Bruce Wemple has become one of the most reliable voices in modern indie horror, and CAPTURE is one of his most unsettling films to date,” said Keith Leopard, President of Uncork’d Entertainment.
