Returning Scary Movie star Jon Abrahams will star in Sage O’Bryant’s Fractured, set to film this spring in Ohio.
Abrahams (Meet the Parents, House of Wax) will be joined onscreen by genre legends Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp, Terrifier 2) and Lew Temple (The Devil’s Rejects, “The Walking Dead”).
Fractured is directed by Sage O’Bryant and written by Eric Swinderman, whose previous collaborations include the anthology Made in Cleveland and the award-winning dark comedy The Enormity of Life. Emelia Sherin co-stars alongside Abrahams and serves as a producer on the film.
Abrahams stars as Arthur Thorne, a tightly wound man battling crippling anxiety and a traumatic past. When his therapist, Dr. Sharma (Rose), begins revealing an unsettling knowledge of his deepest fears, Arthur starts to suspect his reality is being manipulated. As pressure mounts from his domineering boss Pendergast ( Temple), Arthur uncovers evidence that his unraveling mind may be part of a calculated experiment, driving him toward a desperate and violent confrontation.
Eric Swinderman, Emelia Sherin, and Sage O’Bryant are producing under their Anhedonia Pictures shingle. Jon Abrahams, Matthew James, and Shera Piper will serve as executive producers.
Abrahams is repped by Steven Siebert of Lighthouse Entertainment.
