During a live true crime special, hosts Roberta and Frasier reopen the 30-year-old murder of horror novelist Bernard Balance and his missing son. As eccentric witnesses, hidden clues, and absurd twists emerge, the investigation spirals into a darkly comedic whodunit, turning their crumbling relationship, and the night, into a clever, suspenseful and unpredictable murder mystery.
