Surfboard Slasher Film – Plankenstein: A Killer Surf Movie

the world’s first surfboard slasher film, now streaming worldwide on Amazon Prime, Fandango, TubiTV, PlutoTV, Vimeo, XUMO, and Bloodstream.

Shot entirely on Oahu with a 100% local cast and crew, Plankenstein follows a cursed surfboard that protects a secret Hawaiian royal heir through a series of gruesome, darkly comic murders — blending ancient Hawaiian mythology, surf culture, and campy horror into something the genre has genuinely never seen before.

The Story:
In the picturesque beach town of Kailua, Oahu, an ancient Hawaiian curse awakens when a severed foot washes ashore — still attached to a peculiar surfboard with a wild boar’s tusk protruding from its nose. When the board enters a local surf shop’s rental quiver, a chain of horrific events unfolds. Captain Miller’s stepdaughter Lili, secret heir to the Hawaiian throne, returns home for summer — and Plankenstein, sensing her royal blood, begins a violent rampage targeting anyone who disrespects her. All victims share one suspicious trait: they ate pork before their deaths.

As the annual Scary Cup Classic surf competition approaches, tensions explode — culminating in a psychedelic bonfire gone horribly wrong, a pork-fueled massacre at a paddle-out funeral, and a climactic ocean showdown where breaking the curse requires yanking the boar’s tusk from Plankenstein’s nose. The only survivor? The Elder — a vegan. And the ending will make you think twice before plugging a surfboard ding with a pork rib. (Yes, really.)
