SHE BLEEDS GREEN began life from a simple conversation between writer/director Sophie Godin and a friend of hers over how there should be a body horror movie where the body horror element isn’t a negative thing to the main character. From there, Godin began writing the first draft of the script. Over the past year, the story has evolved quite a bit and become something very unique that is bound to stand out in the world of independent horror, offering a great balance of visceral horror, quiet humour and tender emotion. It’s a monster movie for those who root for the monsters, something we believe the world needs to see more of.
