Blood Pact Films has announced the upcoming physical media release of The Girl 2, the independent horror sequel directed by Ken Sechrist. The film will arrive on Blu-ray on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, with pre-orders available now.
Starring Gigi Edgley, Lisa Neeld, and Nancy Anne Ridder, The Girl 2 continues the story years after the original massacre, following the return of its central character after time spent institutionalized. As she re-enters society, a new series of events begins to unfold, drawing renewed attention from those still affected by the original tragedy.
Positioned as a darker and more aggressive continuation, the film expands on the psychological descent of its central figure, pushing the narrative beyond survival into consequence. The result is a grounded, character-driven horror film that leans into tension, instability, and escalation rather than the traditional studio formula.
“We didn’t want to repeat the first film. This one leans further into the characters and lets the story go to places the original only hinted at,” said director Ken Sechrist.
