Until You’re Alone, a new erotic giallo from indie filmmaker Christopher Wesley Moore (Children of Sin, When the Trash Man Knocks) and featuring an appearance from horror legend Lynn Lowry (Shivers, Cat People), has unveiled its official trailer and poster.
Blending the dreamy, stylized suspense of the Italian giallo with the psychological unease of Southern Gothic storytelling, Until You’re Alone follows a repressed architect who must join forces with a free-spirited sex worker to figure out who is responsible for a series of grisly murders and clear his name after he becomes the top suspect.
The newly released trailer offers a first look at the film’s colorful cinematography, humor, and character-driven suspense, while the official poster by Sadist Art Designs’ Marc Schoenbach leans into the lurid style of pulpy paperbacks and horror video rentals of yore.
Writer/director Christopher Wesley Moore describes the project as:
“A darkly humorous take on the Italian giallo and the films of Alfred Hitchcock and Brian De Palma that’s as funny as it is suspenseful.”
The film is a co-production with Rivers Ash Productions and also stars Roger Connors, Will Lovorn, Christopher Wesley Moore, Jo-Ann Robinson, and Keni Bounds. The eerie, synth-filled score is supplied by Luke Zwelsky.
The film is currently seeking festival exhibition, with additional release information to be announced in the coming months.
