TERROR FILMS RELEASING, the digital genre distributor behind indie horror gems such as the “Hell House LLC Franchise”, “Patient Seven”, “The Taking of Deborah Logan”, “Savageland” and more, has teamed up with the newly launched vertical platform, MICROHOUSE FILMS to bring select content to their vertical platform.
Microhouse Co-Founder Autumn Federici had this to say about the collaboration:
“Microhouse Films was created to give filmmakers more ways to distribute, monetize, and extend the reach of their work. Joe Dain and Terror Films have long been committed to supporting independent filmmakers, making them a natural partner as we bring exceptional independent films to the vertical format. These stories now have the opportunity to reach a new generation of mobile-first viewers while creating additional revenue opportunities for filmmakers.”
Microhouse, which officially launched July 7th, is a creator-driven entertainment studio developing premium vertical storytelling experiences for mobile-first audiences. Through partnerships with creators, talent, and leading entertainment brands, Microhouse Films acquires and produces original content designed for the next generation of viewers. Microhouse Films will have no subscription fee and require no fee to upload or host content. Through an ad-free model, filmmakers can choose which episodes to offer for free and which to place behind a credit-based system, retaining control over pricing, release strategy, and revenue. Microhouse Films is founded by Taye Diggs, Autumn Federici, Shelby Stone, James Black, and Troy Brookins.
“The rise of the micro vertical format is one of the biggest shifts in digital media since streaming began and Microhouse is offering access to independent content in a way we have yet to see in this space. This is a strategic step toward sharing our incredible indie filmmaker’s content with the masses in this popular format and we’re thrilled to be working with the Microhouse team”, stated TFR CEO, Joe Dain.
As part of the partnership, Terror Films has released 2 new horror films in an exclusive window on July 7th, as part of Microhouse’s official launch.

broadcast stations with no official statement as to why. One year later a video surfaced online claiming to be from an
episode that never aired.
“BELIATH” Directed by Cristian Peters

What begins as a routine crime report soon spirals into a descent through eerie folklore, buried cults, and unsettling discoveries that blur the line between journalism and obsession.
Both films are exclusively available on Microhouse and will be released across multiple digital platforms sometime in late August. Additional TFR titles on the App include, “Terror Tales: Poetry & Death Volume One” and “Restitution” as well as 2 documentary films, “22” and “Unmasking Monsters Below” from TFR’s sister label, Global Digital Releasing.
