Phantom Pain Films is proud to announce the release of the highly anticipated horror anthology The Blue Hole, from cult shot-on-video filmmaker Dave Castiglione of Sharkey Video, on Blu-ray and VHS through its Future Video label exclusively at Future-Video.tv.
This New Jersey and New York lensed anthology marks the return of cult SOV director Dave Castiglione (An Ex-Hooker’s Christmas Carol, Deep Undead) to filmmaking after a 17 year hiatus. Utilizing archival footage from shoots in 1997 and 2010, writer/director Castiglione crafted a story set in modern day that breathes new life into the decades old footage by tying it to a central mystery revolving around the very real Blue Hole, located in the New Jersey pine barrens.
The cast features a line up of genre veterans including Joel D. Wynkoop (Jack-O 2, Tim Ritter’s Truth or Dare), Phil Herman (Jacker, A Soldier’s Descent), Laura Giglio (Psycho Sisters, Mail Order Murder: The Story of W.A.V.E. Productions), and Debbie D. of numerous W.A.V.E. and Bill Zebub Productions, alongside a group of fresh faces including Micgelle Gibbs, Jacob Kane, and Amanda Megan.
