Freestyle Digital Media, the digital film distribution division of Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group, proudly announces the acquisition of VOD rights to the sci-fi survival thriller feature AFTER IMPACT which will be available on North American digital HD internet, DVD, cable, and satellite platforms on September 15, 2026.
AFTER IMPACT tells the story of Ethan Nichols, who inherits one of the largest greenhouses in the country from his recently deceased father just as the world faces a devastating threat from an approaching asteroid. As society begins to unravel, Ethan grapples with personal betrayal, overwhelming loneliness, and the growing fear that survival may come at the cost of his humanity. Seeking refuge in his family’s bunker, Ethan endures the harsh aftermath of the impact, wrestling with physical injury and emotional despair. When a faint voice crackles over his radio, Ethan discovers he is not as alone as he believed.

“After Impact is really a story about loneliness and growing up. It’s about becoming strong enough to carry your own pain without unintentionally dragging the people around you down with it,” said filmmaker Michiel Rensen. “We just disguised that story as a disaster movie and push the character to the point where he must change or be killed.”
Freestyle Digital Media negotiated a deal to acquire AFTER IMPACT directly with the filmmakers and Zac Reeder of Lucky 27 Media.
