Horror Dadz Productions has officially released the first promotional stills and official trailer for its upcoming found-footage horror film No Witnesses.
Shot in the style of found-footage horror, No Witnesses takes viewers directly into the story, detailing the fictional disappearance of Hannah Jones and the events leading up to the discovery of the footage she captured. The newly released stills provide a glimpse into the world of No Witnesses, and the official trailer introduces Hannah, the atmosphere of the film, and an escalating sense of dread that drives the story. The film stars Berkeley Slightom and other Horror Dadz Productions alumni, Hunter Nino and Otis B. Dreds. Filmed in rural Watseka, Illinois, No Witnesses utilizes the isolation of a rural farmhouse to create a sense of insecurity.
“No Witnesses comes from a very personal, dark place for me,” said Joshua Brucker, the director of the film. “It follows someone who is very much like myself, who has battled a great amount of adversity. Instead, for Hannah, she replaced one danger for another. We also wanted to embrace what makes found footage so effective; making the audience feel like they aren’t watching a horror movie, but that they’ve somehow discovered something they were never supposed to see.”
