Ron Krauss is excited to announce that Screamfest LA will host the October 8th World Premiere of Wounds, his latest feature starring Jack Kilmer (The Nice Guys, Palo Alto) and Paris Jackson (One Spoon of Chocolate, “American Horror Stories”). The psychological thriller also stars Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight), Lambert Houston (Resurrection Factor), Renata Notni (Zorro), Richie Radichi (My Best Friend’s Dead), and Rufus Dorsey (Ali).
Wounds explores obsession, morality, and the dangerous allure of artistic ambition, examining how creativity can both inspire and consume. Shot entirely on 35mm film, it is described as a love letter to the indie horror genre, in the spirit of auteur directors such as De Palma, Cronenberg, and Carpenter.
Wounds was produced by Ron Krauss and Ira Houston with Chung Dick, Thomas Carroll, Sam Shen and Jason Sun serving as executive producers and Marvin Cheng as co-producer. The screenplay was written by Ryan Leeder, Joshua Courtade and Ron Krauss.
