Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is proud to announce a collaboration with Korean-American singer, songwriter, actor, entrepreneur and global entertainer Eric Nam via Nam’s global distribution partner The Orchard. On October 19, ten Alamo Drafthouse locations will celebrate the release of the singer’s new album, “Confessions of a Lonely Heart”, releasing everywhere October 16, with exclusive special screenings of Alfred Hitchcock’s PSYCHO.
The nationwide screenings will begin with a recorded introduction by Nam and the theatrical debut of his new music video for the album’s opening track, “Psycho,” with keepsakes in store for fans. Nam has built an international following through sold-out world tours and earned recognition as a TIME100 Impact Award recipient.
“Two PSYCHOs in one night feels like a pretty memorable way to celebrate this album,” says Nam. “I’m excited for fans to experience the music video on the big screen, then settle in for Hitchcock’s classic. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve put together.”
The screenings mark Alamo Drafthouse’s third collaboration this year with The Orchard, following February’s month-long Gorillaz screening series celebrating the band’s ninth studio album, The Mountain, and a May livestream event with progressive death metal band Blood Incantation.
