Haunting of Cellblock 11 was the last title I watched in the subgenre of “a paranormal investigating team…” before I closed the lid on my fascination with that material. And what a way to go! I thought the movie was fantastic and I gave it a great review. Now, DVD lovers nationwide have a chance to see the award winning film for themselves as Haunting of Cellblock 11 officially hit DVD today!
Although this title has been available on VOD sites like Amazon Instant Video and Hulu, as of today, March 3, you can currently find a DVD copy at ghost tours in Missouri, on Netflix, and in Family Video stores across America. Not bad for an independent release!
Haunting of Cellblock 11 is written and directed by Andrew P. Jones. Cast members include Jeffrey Johnson, Linara Washington, Charley Koontz (Neil in “Community”), John Zderko, Bill Lithgow, Dee Wallace (scream queen: The Howling, Cujo, Critters), and Peter Mayer.
