  • 2014 – Rik Mayall, was a hilarious British comedian known for his 80’s Britcom “The Young Ones (TV Series)”. He would go on to appear in many films and TV shows in comedic roles but he also appeared in “An American Werewolf in London”, “Shock Treatment”, “Cold Dark”, “The Legend of Harrow Woods”, “Evil Calls”, “Highway to Hell” and more. He passed away at the age of 56 from a heart attack.
  • 2000 – Chester Hayes, an ex-professional wrestler, who played “Tabanga” in “From Hell It Came,” passed away at the age of 86.
  • 1993 – Peter Coe who appeared in the films “House of Frankenstein” and “The Mummy’s Curse,” passed away at the age of 75.
  • 1990 – The founder of Hammer Films, James Carreras, passed away at the age of 80.
  • 1985 – Clifford Evans, appeared in Hammer films’ “The Curse of the Werewolf” and “The Kiss of the Vampire.” He passed away at the age of 73.
  • 1870 – Charles Dickens passed away at the age of 58.
