It’s a joyous day indeed when an indie horror flick finally sees release!
Written and directed by Joseph P. Kelly, Bloody Island tells the story of a small town massacre when community service workers and many others were tortured and left for dead. Officer Bob Butterfield is about to do one last job before a break from reality, one that’s a few hundred miles away at an abandoned amusement park on a private island. Joined by two ex-marines and other officers, Butterfield takes the community service workers to the amusement park for a little clean up only to run into a cracked out clown and his “little” pal…and maybe even long forgotten killer Billy Fouls.
Cast members include Mindy Robinson, Shawn C. Phillips, David Baughman, Amelia Favata, Liza Pabon, Michael Paris, Curtis Hughes and Mike Sanavonxay.
Bloody Island will see its world premiere on July 18, 2015 in Rochester, New York at The Cinema Theater located on 957 S. Clinton Ave. Doors will open at 3:00PM sharp with the screening expected to begin at 3:45PM. A cast and crew Q&A will follow. Tickets are on sale for $8 in advance or they’ll be $12 at the door.
