- 1997 – Shinichirô Nakamura , who wrote the story on which the screenplay of “Mothra” was based, passed away at the age of 79.
- 1995 – Dean Martin, crooner and Rat Pack member. He starred in “Scared Stiff.” He passed away at the age of 78.
