MV5BMTYwMDIwMDMxN15BMl5BanBnXkFtZTYwODg5MjAz._V1_UY317_CR7,0,214,317_AL_Born in Indiana in September 1965, Robert Rusler really burst onto the scene in Hollywood at the age of twenty in 1985. His first year as a professional actor saw him land a recurring role on “Facts of Life” as well as the role of Max in Weird Science and the role of Ron Grady in A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge. What few people realize, though, is that he worked primarily in horror films for the remainder of his early career. Keeping up with tradition, Robert followed up those accomplishments with a role in Vamp (1986) before booking a recurring role on “The Outsiders” in 1990.

Next, Rusler played the part of Richard Lawson in Stephen King’s Sometimes They Come Back (1991) before being featured in Amityville: A New Generation (1993). This would mark the end of his career in horror for some time as he made the inevitable leap to television, starting with another recurring role, this time in “Babylon 5” from 1994 to 1995. Robert started off the new millennium by making guest spots on hit shows like “24,” “The Closer,” “Medium,” “NCIS,” “Star Trek: Enterprise” and “The Unit” from 2003 to 2008.

So, where is Robert Rusler now?

At the end of the 2000’s decade, Robert attempted to get back into movies, but all of the parts were small or happened to be in movies that never went anywhere big. Starting in 2014, however, he started the second wind of his career by booking a guest spot on “Bones” in 2014 as well as a recurring role on “General Hospital.” In 2015, he made his big return to horror as M. Blake in the “Sweet Tooth” segment of Tales of Halloween. It was his first horror role in 22 years! Up next you can see Rusler in horror’s short film The Secret of 40 and feature films Blood Feast and The Unwilling – all due for release in 2016 or 2017.

Behind the camera, Robert previously wrote, directed and produced a horror short, Black Asylum.
