- 1972 – Karl Urban, who starred as “Dr. Leonard ‘Bones’ McCoy” in the 2009 remake of “Star Trek” and “Eomer” in the “Lord of the Rings” films. He also appeared in “The Chronicles of Riddick” and Doom.”
- 1964 – Judie Aronson, has appeared in “Hannibal”, “The Sleeping Car”, “After Midnight” and “Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter.”
- 1955 – William Forsythe who appeared in the films “Virtuosity,” and Rob Zombie’s “Halloween” and “The Devil’s Rejects.”
- 1952 – Liam Neeson who starred as “Dark Man,” “Henri Ducard”a.k.a. “Ras Al Ghul” in “Batman Begins,” as “Zeus” in the 2010 remake of “Clash of the Titans” and as “Qui-Gon Jinn” in “Stars Wars I: The Phantom Menace”, “The Grey”, “The Haunting”, “Darkman” and more.

- 1933 – Gary Kent who appeared in “The Thrill Killers,” “Dracula vs. Frankenstein” and “Targets.”
- 1928 – Reg Park who played “Hercules” and “Maciste” in many Italian sword and sandal films.
- 1909 – The late Jessica Tandy who appeared in “Cocoon” and “The Birds.”
DIED ON THIS DAY IN HORROR HISTORY
- 2015 – The legendary Christopher Lee, one of the last gentleman of horror. He appeared in countless films and played “Count Dracula” more than any other actor. He passed away at 93.
- 2004 – Quorthon, Lead singer of Bathory. He is considered as one of the pioneering figures of extreme metal genres, particularly black metal with the first Bathory album. He died at the age of 41 from heart failure.
- 2003 – Trevor Goddard, appeared in “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl”, “Hollywood Vampyr”, “The X-Files (TV Series)”, “Deep Rising” and more. He passed away at the age of 40 from an overdose.
- 1996 – Percy Edwards, who did the voice for “Fizzgig” in “The Dark Crystal” and “Ambrosious” in the film “Labyrinth,” passed away at the age of 88.
- 1966 – Perennial bad guy Dan Duryea, who starred in the film “The Bamboo Saucer” and appeared in episodes of “The Twilight Zone” and “Alfred Hitchcock Presents,” passed away at the age of 61.
