Well, this looks… interesting. The latest promo image from the upcoming film Born Again (featured below) is giving me some major Mo Collins in “MADTV” vibes, and I mean that with the utmost respect. Considering this is the first time I’m coming across this project from Hands Off Productions, I figure this might be the first you’re hearing of it, too, so let me give you the run down as we await Born Again to hit the film festival circuit.
A horror-comedy short film, Born Again follows the worst Satanists ever as they struggle to schedule the summoning of Evil on a date when all the members can make the event. Of course, their joyous event goes horribly wrong and they’re left to deal with the consequences of their own inadequacy. Born Again was written and directed by Jason Tostevin, who you may recognize as the mind behind Room 4C (2011) and 2013’s award winning ‘Til Death.
Cast members include Ellie Church (Harvest Lake, Headless), Brian Spangler, Randall Greenland, Tiffany Arnold, Jordan Fehr, Jaysen Buterin
