British actor Ian McNeice is a talented chameleon most known for his roles in titles such as Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, A Christmas Carol, The Beautician and the Beast, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Horatio Hornblower: The Fire Ship, Spartacus, Valkyrie and Valmont. Though he’s found the most success in out of genre films, he happens to have a couple horror films under his belt including The Black Dahlia, Day of the Dead (remake), From Hell, Grizzly II: The Concert and White Noise. But it’s his latest film appearance, The House of Screaming Death, that has folks talking.

Mr. McNeice is just as excited about the film as we are and you can watch an interview with him below where he discusses how he got on board with this project and tidbits about the character he plays.

The House of Screaming Death is now in post-production and is aiming for a mid-2017 release. It will also be unleashed on the worldwide festival circuit at the same time. It was filmed in and around both Walsall, Sandwell and Staffordshire areas in the West Midlands, UK, with huge support from the local councils. A horror anthology, segments were collectively written and directed by Ales Bourne, Troy Dennison, Rebecca Harris-Smith, David Hastings, Mark Lees and Kaushy Patel.

Synopsis: “Echoing the distinctive and much celebrated great British Gothic Horror films of the 1960-70s, The House of Screaming Death will uphold their successful traditions with the telling of four macabre tales of terror all told by the mysterious Architect. Each horrific segment delves into explicit corners of the supernatural, summoning such damned creations as the ghostly Lady in Grey, stories of Witchcraft most foul, Vampirism and the Occult. But as these horrifying tales unfold with nightmarish conclusions, the Architect also has one last shocking secret of his own to tell.”
