FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival 2011

Orlando, Florida’s FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival is looking to find the next great horror filmmaker for their event at the Wyndham Orlando Resort October 7-9, 2011.

Orlando, FL – January 17, 2011 – The 6th Annual FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival has announced that a worldwide search is now happening for the next great horror filmmaker. The Horror Film Festival is looking for feature length, short films, and screenplays from the brightest, upcoming filmmakers from around the world. The announcement was made by festival director and creator Robert J. Massetti.

Mr. Massetti states, “We are looking for the next John Carpenter or Alfred Hitchcock and to celebrate independent filmmaking. We are proud to continue supporting independent filmmakers and their work by exposing them to thousands of horror fans every year.”

Early deadline for entries is February 18, 2011 with discounted submission fees. The festival takes place October 7-9, 2011 at the Wyndham Orlando Resort in beautiful Orlando, Florida. Just named one of MovieMaker Magazine’s 20 Coolest Film Festivals! The FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival is a horror genre film festival founded by FEAR FILM Motion Picture Studio’s owner Robert J. Massetti. The Festival is part of Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend, which is the largest horror convention in the state of Florida drawing more than 12,000 horror fans annually. The convention features celebrity guests, bands, tattoo room, vendor room and huge after parties by pool.
