The Saturday Nightmares Horror Expo is coming to the Meadowlands June 3rd – 5th. (Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel) Along with an outstanding lineup of genre talent including Martin Landau, Bruce Dern, Karen Black, Sid Haig, Tippi Hedren, Tom Savini, Ken Foree…among many others….The New York City Horror Film Festival will be on hand to continue its traveling Killer Shorts Film Competition, where YOU the audience pick the winner! And in usual NYCHFF fashion, the bodies will hit the floor and there will be fun festival giveaways for the crowd!
We will also be there all weekend long in the dealer’s room promoting all things horror including our first release under The New York City Horror Film Festival Presents label: DEVIL’S GROVE (available June 7th) NYCHFF Founder and Devil’s Grove Co-Director Michael Hein will be on hand with starring actress Kimberly Magness signing copies Sat & Sun. Filmmakers: Do you have a short film 15 mins or under that you think has what it takes to screen in The Big Apple? Time is short to submit to the Killer Shorts Film Competition at Saturday Nightmares Expo. (deadline is June 1st) If you make our deadline you’ll get a guaranteed screening at the expo and if you win audience choice, your film moves on to The New York City Horror Film Festival in the fall!!
