Slow-Burn Religious Horror “Grace of God” Begins Production:

HH Entertainment Group, the indie production company behind micro budget B-horror films such as The Arkansas Pigman Massacre, Don’t Make a Sound, Ouija Clown, and Ghosts of Amityville, has officially begun production on Grace of God. A slow-burn, religious horror film written and directed by JT Kris.

A departure from the company’s earlier gore-driven slasher titles, Grace of God focuses on atmosphere, emotional tension, and psychological horror. The story centers on a young girl raised within an isolated apocalyptic cult, as she begins to question her beliefs and secretly plots her escape. The film explores themes of spiritual trauma, manipulation, and the silent desperation of someone trying to reclaim their freedom.

Taking inspiration from critically acclaimed horror films like Hereditary, The Witch, and Midsommar, Grace of God emphasizes storytelling, naturalistic pacing, and slow-building dread over shock or spectacle.

“I’ve done the loud, bad no budget bloody movies”, says JT Kris. “But this project is something else, it’s quiet, personal, and far more grounded. I wanted to tell a horror story that lingers with you emotionally. Something stripped-down, cinematic, and honest.”

Grace of God is currently in production and expected to be completed in late 2025.
