James Balsamo has produced over a thousand film products! On Thursday, October 22, James Balsamo brings his monsters to the world famous Whisky a Go-Go, fronting his doom metal band Bringer of Doom on lead vocals and bass.
Balsamo’s band pairs crushing doom riffs with the practical effects work he’s spent his film career on. Carlo Sequini plays lead guitar and Brandon Walker drums. Joining them onstage is Hunter Jackson, co-founder of GWAR, and appears on stage with Bringer Of Doom as the monster-slaying warrior Lord Sword in full theatrical combat throughout the set.
Debut album White Spider arrived August 7 from Acid Bath Productions. Original Suffocation frontman Frank Mullen sings on the title track “White Spider” and on the single “Sea of Blood”!
