Just in time for the Halloween season, a new fun “Creature Feature” emerges. In the tradition of the iconic Dario Argento’s style of suspense horror, The 3 Killer Pigs has that retro 80’s throwback horror feels about it.
The 3 Killer Pigs, stars veteran television actor/director Anson Williams with Brian Austin Green, and the late Robert Carradine. Along with Rachel Pizzolato (Waxman, MythBusters Jr) and Sharna Burgess (Dancing with the Stars), both making their feature film debuts. The film is set for a limited theatrical run across the U.S. beginning September 25th in New York, ahead of an October 23rd VOD release from Quiver Distribution.
The 3 Killer Pigs is by genre veteran, writer, producer, director Thomas J. Churchill, whos’ most recent film, was last year’s “The Salem Chronicles.” Prior to that was his “Amityville Trilogy” that had returned to the Peacock Network, three years in a row, and was streaming alongside studio blockbusters during the past Halloween season. 3KP is Produced by Aleksandra Zorich Hunt and executive produced by Guy Quigley and Thundersmoke Media.
Churchill has described the film as an homage to Italian genre director, Dario Argento who has been called the Hitchcock of Italy. With an eerie score from Argento collaborator, Marco Werba and FX creature design by Emmy Award Winner Marcel Banks & Anaglyph Studios and Makeup by Kaitlin Lyerly (Obsession). The story follows a local farmer who resorts to extreme measures to get his livestock back. A blood oath is put in place when the killer pigs return to where their nightmare began. “As the film did very well with test screenings, we hope the audience continues to embrace The 3 Killer Pigs as we are planning to build a franchise with them”, Churchill added. “We are so proud and grateful. The film features Robert Carradine in what could be his last screen project. Carradine passed away in February at the age of 71. His career spanned more than five decades, with credits including Revenge of the Nerds, The Long Riders and Lizzie McGuire to name a few. His last public appearance was at a sneak peek screening for
