Independent film studio Dark Vintage Pictures is bringing to life “The Crawlspace”. A new horror movie
loosely based on the Ada Township witch legend. Written by Luke Walters (Guardia De Male 2), who pulls double duty as
the film’s main actor, and directed by Brian Kilby (Guardia De Male 1 and 2, The Unknown: Caught on Video) “The Crawlspace” aims to bring something unique to the horror genre by using elements of one of Michigan’s local legends in its story.
This whole idea started after a very vivid nightmare Luke had. It inspired/scared him into doing some research into Michigan’s witch legends and that is where he discovered the story of the Ada Witch. This story has been with him for many years before he decided to write it. What started as a passion piece for just him, soon became one for director Brian Kilby as well.
Friends were called, favors were asked, and filming started in the summer of 2024. Now, Luke’s nightmare, the Ada Witch and “The Crawlspace” are nearly ready to be unleashed.
