The film follows psychiatrist Erin Murphy as she is assigned to evaluate a mysterious prisoner connected to the disappearance of a young woman. Expecting a routine assessment, she instead encounters Bob, a charismatic storyteller whose strange tales begin to blur the line between fiction and reality.
As Bob recounts a series of interconnected stories involving supernatural forces, fractured identities, restless spirits, and impossible worlds, Murphy becomes increasingly immersed in his narratives. With each tale, the truth behind Bob’s nature grows more disturbing, and Murphy begins to question everything she believes about reality itself. As the boundaries between storyteller, story, and listener begin to dissolve, Murphy realizes she is no longer simply hearing the stories—she may have become part of one.
