Fright-Rags Launches Horror Anthology Comic TALES FROM THE MORGUE

After over two decades of horror movie apparel and collectibles, Fright-Rags is delivering original tales of terror.

Fright-Rags Presents: Tales from the Morgue, an all-new horror anthology comic, is launching just in time for Halloween in partnership with American Mythology Comics.

The Fantom, Fright-Rags’ resident ghoul, guides readers through two original nightmares across 32 full-color pages.

In “Pyromaniac,” a force of consuming hatred believes fire can cleanse the world — no matter what burns in his path. In “Maul Santa,” a dying shopping mall’s longtime Santa finally snaps on Christmas eve.

The debut issue is written by James Kuhoric, S.A. Check, and G.O. Parsons and features artwork by E.V. Cantada and Emanuele Tommarelli.

Fright-Rags is selling an exclusive limited edition featuring cover art by Justin Osbourn. His retro-inspired artwork is also available on shirts.

Additional covers by Roy Allan Martinez, Buz Hasson, Puis Calzada, and Gabriel Mangum will hit comic shops nationwide beginning October 28.

“Comics were a huge part of how I fell in love with horror, so telling our own stories, with the Fantom as our host, is a dream come true,” said Fright-Rags founder Ben Scrivens. “These are original tales we’ve been cooking up for a long time, and we can’t wait for fans to dig in.”

Tales from the Morgue #1 is on sale now at Fright-Rags.com.
