“Buffy” star trading fangs for fae; set to appear in season 5 of “Lost Girl.”

CHarismaC“Buffy The Vampire Slayer” star Charisma Carpenter is joining the SyFy series “Lost Girl” for season five!

Charisma Carpenter, most known for playing Cordelia Chase on three seasons of “Buffy” and four seasons of “Angel,” is trading fangs for fae when “Lost Girl” returns after its explosive season four finale.

Carpenter has a knack for landing scifi roles on television, with other credits including a featured appearance on “Supernatural” and a recurring role on “Charmed.” She has also appeared in a number of horror films.

Charisma’s role on “Lost Girl,” is slated as a guest appearance, but there has been no mention as to how long she will be on the SyFy series about a succubus named Bo who is constantly fighting to stay neutral in a war between good fae and dark fae. Charisma will play the part of a well known Norse Goddess who rides a big ol’ boar. Her name? Freyja.

Season five of lost girl is already in the midst of filming its 13 episode long season in Toronto. The series is created by M.A. Lovretta and stars Anna Silk.
