Well I had the chance to check out the new site, Mangled Angels.com. We posted the press release from the webmaster just a bit ago, here, and he has given us access to the site for a review.
And I must say, this site kicks ass! The whole premise for the site is a blog from a serial killer filled with his demented mind ramblings along with graphic pictures of what he does for a living. The whole idea of this is almost a reversal of what most people are used to. For me anyway, a good movie starts out with a good story and good characters. Then we get to see the whole thing play out on the big screen. Of course once it’s over, then it’s over. Sometimes you are left with wanting to see more, or see what and why the characters are doing. For this site, it takes that same idea and just reverses it. It’s like there is this great movie and they turned it into a script. Something as simple as this may seem all good, but you have to see the site for yourself to really get it.
There is this serial killer that has apparently been chatting things up with GOD and HE has been telling this dude to give him some angels. So that is just what he does. But he also gives everyone a little insight on why and what he is doing in the process. Fucking great! For the extreme GOREHOUNDS like myself and a few others here, this is a chance to not only see, but read what some people might really be thinking along with seeing what they are doing. The scenes of torture and death are remarkable and the effects for them are extremely realistic. Various women are taken, tortured, and left for GOD in the end. There are creepy shots of this guy stalking some of these women doing mundane things like talking on the phone or just hanging out. This along with all of the gory pics of the actual torture and the final minutes of their existence bring this site and the content to another level.
But wait a minute. I’ve seen all this stuff before on countless sites right? Yeah you probably have, but the main aspect of the site and where it goes into the ultra creepy real life mode is actually reading the blogs posted from this guy doing all the killing. Talk about creepy shit. He delves into why and how he finds the girls and what he is thinking as he is doing all of this. Everything is written so well, that is almost seems like this shit could be for real. This guy might really be doing this stuff and writing about it as I’m reading it. As you read along you get the feeling that he is crazy, fucked up type of a guy, but you start to really feel for the guy sometimes. Not only does he write about killing and what not, but he also does what a lot of us Bloggers do..write about the daily stuff he sees and does. All that crap that most blogs are filled with. Well he does the same, and you start to think of him as just another blogger and just some guy talking about his life, until he casually stops, and slips in the…”well I have to go finish off this girl, she’s been in the room for hours now” type of shit!
Like the minds of most serial killers it switches off and on between psycho killer and regular guy. I think that is one of the best parts of the site and the whole premise behind the site. Reading about someone walking their dog and buying groceries on the way home to a house filled with rotting and bleeding people. Creepy! I tell you what, whoever is doing the writing for this might have to take a break now and again. You know what they say, life imitates art right? HAHA
