Well its about 9am here at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors, its the second day, and hopefully a better one. Friday was a little slow,but it seems like it is every year on Friday. People are still at work and havent come into town yet or something. The guests have been good, but mostly “non” big names, which is good. Sometimes conventions leave out the little guy/gal and we never get to hear from them.
The dealers room is once again great upstairs and very sparse downstairs. Almost a vast wasteland of empty downstairs. The shoved TROMA in the basement once again, and this time our friends at HACK MOVIES have a table downstairs this year too. Nice to see them here and doing good. I tell you, they will be the next TROMA!
Today, there are more panels, more photo ops, and more previews of splatter type flicks coming up this year. Sunday is looking good with the legend Robert Englund showing up!! Nice. I have met and had my picture taken with almost everyone here except for Robert, so that is cool. Plenty of Indie movies downstairs in the film room and plenty of partying will be happening tonight at the celeb bash. Im looking forward to that and meeting up with some yearly friends there too.
