Synopsis: Russ is a user. He uses his friends, he uses his sister, and a list of women too numerous to mention. He steals and then reacts violently when confronted. Basically, he’s no good. He skates through life on the backs of others. That, however, is about to change. Someone has unleashed Demons of Vengeance and they have set their sites on none other than good ole Russ. As the bodies pile up, Russ tries to escape a fate of his own design.

Roy: This is an example of why I love Indie Horror! They took an interesting concept and built a good story around it. Combine that with very good gore effects and you have a low budget film with “meat”. I expect very good things in the future from “In Lieu of Flowers” Productions and William Victor Schotten.

Tommy: What the horror genre is missing is good, low budget horror filmmakers. People that love and respect the genre. I think these guys might be what low budget horror needs. Dread shows promise and I agree with Roy that we can expect some good things in the future from them. I was impressed with several things; first and foremost, I thought is was beautifully shot. Second, the gore, for a low budget film was pretty good. I also thought the story was interesting, and easy to follow. Great little indie feature from some young, hungry horror lovers. Check it out!
