A tiny piece on a not-so-old short that director Toby Wilkins did for Ghosthouse Pictures a few years back… By Bryan Schuessler
Toby Wilkins, director of Splinter (2008), made a nice and short 90-second feature entitled “Mousetrap” reminding everyone why it is never a good idea to stick your nose in tiny holes without knowing what lies behind them! “Short…but sweet” best describes this little indie feature Wilkins created for Ghosthouse Pictures back in 2005 and I believe it is definitely worth a look! One can find it on youtube.com or just click the link at the bottom of the post that I have so graciously provided for you!
Be sure to catch Splinter on the Sci-Fi channel February 14th, which is Valentine’s Day, and would make a great evening of romance for your wife or significant other by sitting down and enjoying an excellent independent horror film on cable. For those of you who would rather get a copy of Splinter for yourself and be able to watch it anytime you want and with all the gruesome gore intact, April is a tentative date for its release on dvd. I, for one, am going to be picking this film up the day it comes out! If you do not recall my opinion on Splinter, read my earlier review on it on my blog, www.shuizmz.com.Check out the link for the short, Mousetrap here:
