Written & Directed By Justin Russell
Our film entitled Death Stop Holocaust, is a horror film meant to push the envelope. The film is a graphic throw back to the 1970’s Grindhouse films, in particular, the Italian’s. The film is intended to be a gory and raw ride that takes place over a two-day period in the lives of two young women. The two women, while heading to a summer home for vacation on a remote island, happen upon a group of locals that torture & kill outsiders. While desperately trying to find help, it becomes more & more obvious that the entire island is in on the ruse & will stop at nothing to preserve their secret.
At it’s root, it’s a slasher film, but not your current everyday Hollywood-esque horror film. We taking this one back to the roots of true horror where atmosphere & ominous ambience were the real scare. Some of our favorite film styles were those of the old 70’s Italian films like Cannibal Holocaust, Cannibal Ferox, & Zombi. However we tried to stay extremely true to the classics like Halloween, Friday The 13th, & The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. And the thing that made those films great were the fact that they just went out & made a movie, regardless of the obstacles they had to overcome. And that’s what we’ve done. Our budget was extremely modest, but we found inventive ways to work around that.
We have put our all into this movie ensuring that this is a quality piece of work that will be obvious to any & all lovers of the classic style of film making. To summarize this movie in a sentence, this is a classic, grindhouse, slasher-flick, but with a story & a presence that will shock audiences and delight true horror fans. Death Stop Holocaust is geared for distribution with a decent run in the festival circuit.

One of the absolutely worst films I have ever seen in my long, movie-going life — and I am a fan of good horror films. The only thing worthwhile is the effects (that is, the quality of them). The acting is atrocious and the plot is non-existent. The timeline of the action is screwed up as well: for instance, it took the two girls hours to get to the island, and Liz told Taylor it would take another hour to get to the house (after they had already driven an unknown length of time). However, after Liz called her father from the house, he arrived there in very short order (only a small amount of action had taken place in Liz's timeline). All in all, completely worthless drivel. I could go on, but I would only be pointing out more mistakes and making more rude comments.
