Follow the announcement of DJ Perry and Fred Griffith signing to Rampant Entertainment’s Yuma, AZ thriller “Renovation,” their “Book of Ruth” co-star Lana Wood has signed on to join the cast. Fans of her past horror/thrillers like “The Fool Killer” with Anthony Perkins and 1982’s “Satan’s Mistress” with the late, great John Carradine will enjoy her return to the genre.

For this role Lana stated, “I will have to get in touch with my dark side!” She has starred opposite such legends of the screen as Sean Connery (Diamonds are Forever) and John Wayne (The Searchers) directed by such masters of the screen as John Ford. Now director Robert Gwinn will step up to the plate and direct a script by his producing partner Charles Pisaeno.

“To have someone with her experience and knowledge lend her expertise is unbelievable.” (Writer/Producer – Charles Pisaeno)

"Ms. Wood is an iconic woman. Having stood toe to toe with Hollywood legends, I wouldn’t say it makes me nervous so much as eager” (Director Robert Gwinn)

Lana Wood has been enthusiastically returning the screen following her work as a

producer. Lana’s last producing project was “The Mystery of Natalie Wood” about her legendary-famous sister.

Negotiations are also under way with David Borowicz (Knight Chills, From Venus) and actor/director Dean Teaster best known for his quirky turn as Digger, the undertaker in the western thriller “Dean Teaster’s Ghost Town” released by Lionsgate in October 2008.
