BOOK OF BLOOD stars Sophie Ward and Jonas Armstrong, and is directed by John Harrison. When a paranormal expert (Ward) recruits "medium" Simon McNeal (Armstrong) to investigate a supposedly haunted house, Simon winds up as a conduit for souls on their way to the afterlife –who carve their stories on his body as a living book of blood.
Based on the short stories "The Book of Blood" and "On Jerusalem Street", BOOK OF BLOOD is the latest on-screen adaptation of Mr. Barker’s works. The Original Director’s cut of CLIVE BARKER’s BOOK OF BLOOD will be released by Lightning Home Entertainment on Blu-ray disc and DVD on September 22nd. The title will be distributed by Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
