Project-X Exclusive Pictures

Project-X was born out of the creative minds of Jose F. Sanchez and Jaime Beltran on Halloween night 2007. After years of doing short sketches and posting them on Youtube, the duo decided to take their work to the big screen. Since that faithful October day, Jose and Jaime wrote and rewrote the script and raised money to make the screenplay come to life. After many numerous sleepless nights, days of location scouting, casting, and research the time finally came for the project to become a reality.

In the summer of 2009 “Project X” went into production. In August 2009, after two months of intense night shoots, hard work, and sacrifice from both cast and crew; the film wrapped up principal photography. The movie was shot entirely in Deep South Texas including the great Cities of Pharr-Las Milpas, Hidalgo, Donna, Alamo, and Weslaco to include the Wes-Mer Drive In Theater. Starring in the film are Thomas Fuschetto, Laya Hernandez, Hector Palacios and Mario Salazar.

The filmmakers are hoping to premiere the movie in the 2010 film festival circuit.
