That rare follow-up that actually enriches and expands the premises of the original, [REC] 2 picks up where [REC] left off: flesh-eating zombies have infested a Barcelona apartment building. A Spanish special commando unit is mobilized to take the building. A mysterious health official, who seems to have his own agenda for the mission, leads them.
