Oshkosh Horror Updates

Our friends at Oshkosh Horror have a full lineup of bloody good horror happenings coming soon…

Friday Fright Night presents The Brain That Wouldn’t Die – This Friday, 8PM
The first Friday Fright Night was a great success and we can’t wait to see everyone again! The subject of our next film has been in a Steve Martin comedy, the comic book Madmen, featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000, is the title to a Ben Weasel solo record, and now The Brain That Wouldn’t Die is playing for free at The Time Community Theater! The second feature in Friday Fright Night tells the story of a horrible accident, Dr. Bill Cortner rescues his beloved Jan from death by keeping her disembodied head alive in a dish. While Cortner hunts for the perfect female body to which to attach it, Jan’s head develops telepathic powers and begins communicating with one of the doctor’s failed experiments, a hideously deformed thing locked up in his lab. Come see this great B-Movie in all it’s glory this Friday @ 8pm at The Time Community Theater (445 N. Main St. Downtown Oshkosh) and pick up an official Friday Fright Night t-shirt! How can you pass it up; free movie, cheap snacks and good company. Check out the trailer below and also the poster for the full line-up.

HOUSE OF HORRORS – MAY 8 – CARRIE
It’s spring time and the school year nears completion, and that can only mean on thing. Well, actually it can mean more than one but forget the others for now, I am talking about the prom! Perhaps you were like us here at Oshkosh Horror and never went to prom, or maybe you were there dancing your ass off, regardless, we have a date lined up just for you, Carrie! Directed by Brian De Palma (Scarface, The Untouchables, Carlito’s Way) and based off Stephan King’s first novel, Carrie may be ostracized, but the shy teen has the ability to move objects with her mind. So when the high school “in crowd” torments her with a sick joke at the prom, she lashes out with devastating — and deadly — power. Plus John Travolta makes his big screen debut!

INFECTION 2010: SECOND ANNUAL OSHKOSH ZOMBIE WALK – SEPTEMBER 4
We have been getting a lot of questions in regards to the Zombie Walk and you better believe it’s coming back (to life) for another round. Mark the calendar, Saturday September 4 the dead take over the streets of Oshkosh once again. More details will be released over the next couple months.

A little side note, OshkoshHorror.com will be getting a whole new look as we are in the process of redesigning the site, so stay tuned!

Thanks! Talk to you all soon!
