A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)

Freddy’s back and updated for the modern times for today’s teenagers but is this a dream come true for Fred Heads or is it their worst nightmare? The story isn’t bad but it’s almost the same as the first movie except for Freddy and his past, which they have changed. The characters aren’t really very well written, as half of them didn’t seem to have much personality whatsoever and you didn’t care about them at all.
The acting wasn’t very good at the start but it soon picked up and from the middle to the end, it was mediocre but the teenagers looked like they should have left school a good few years ago. The character development started picking up towards the end and didn’t pace itself, which was another problem with the movie……
