RAP ARTIST 10 MILLION RETURNS TO SET OF THE CTHULHU KEY: LEGACY FOR FINAL ROUND OF SHOOTING
GREENVILLE, TX – Over the weekend, 10 Million and the cast of The Cthulhu Key: Legacy returned to Northern Texas to wrap production of the heavily anticipated exoteric horror.
Depicted as a form of “new media” by the film’s director, Jason Heath, The Cthulhu Key is a thriller-styled, psychological horror. Inspired by the works of 1930s horror author H.P. Lovecraft, Cthulhu is part of a group of aliens that came to Earth not long after it was formed to create life, and later banished to another dimension. Heath says, “Now, is their time to plot and await their chance to return and reclaim Earth.”
10 Million portrays a challenging and complex character, a role unlike any of those he has played before…his character Cutter has a gift for pain and is the center of one of the films more technically involved scenes. Heat states, “His scene should be one of the most talked about of the movie!”
The Cthulhu Key: Legacy is “unlike the recent, modern gorefests”; it’s about “a diverse group of people coming together to save the world from being destroyed by the return of these ancient alien forces.” Heath continues, “We break standard clichés and stereotypes, in that this film features strong women in lead roles.”
Along with 10 Million, VH1’s Scream Queen’s Monique Dupree joins the cast for a special role. Scheduled to be released in Spring 2011, The Cthulhu Key: Legacy will be released to DVD, On Demand, on iTunes and Amazon.com.
