Just taking the time to remind all the HS readers about the Chiller Theatre event happening at the end of the month. Chiller Theatre is one of the biggest horror expos in the TriState area. I’ve never been to others, so I don’t know how it works, but what’s really cool about Chiller is that the guests stay at the same hotel they appear in. So, after the event, they usually go down to the open bar and drink and converse with fans. This would be pretty cool for anyone dying to meet one of their favorite celebrities.
There are about 100 guests scheduled to appear, you can find the whole list here. Some notable guests include Gary Busy, PJ Soles (Halloween), Heather Langenkamp (Nightmare on Elm Street), Clare Kramer & Mercedes McNab (of Buffy fame), a mini Human Centipede reunion, former pro wrestlers, Lloyd Kaufman, Bill Morrison (The Simpsons & Futurama), and tons of other celebrities who have contributed to the horror genre. Also, oddly enough, there will be reunions of the original casts of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and the Brady Bunch.
Not to mention there will be a lot of kick ass bands playing too! So, come on down and attend this event. I’ll be there (hopefully) wearing my Horror Society t-shirt, which I need to order….and you can too from this site! The event kicks off April 29th and ends May 1st.
