Horror Sales: Cowboys, Aliens, Dylan Dog, and True Blood vs Falling Skies

Five independent horror films are pulling in money at the Box Office. This is the first time in a while that this has happened. But, the two newest entries Attack The Block and Good Neighbors are really tumbling down the chart. Good Neighbors probably won’t even make the chart next week. So, again, indie film lovers – please check out these films this week!

3 2 Cowboys & Aliens $22,242,000 (Total: $73,862,000)

Insidious still doing really well on the DVD Top 30 Chart. For a horror film created on a budget of only $1,500,000, Insidious has grossed over $60,000,000 with theatre and DVD totals combined. Clearly the best performing horror film of 2011 so far. On the flip side, Dylan Dog debuts on the chart with less than a million in sales. Clearly the worst performing horror film of 2011 so far.

4 4 Harry Potter/Hallows Part 1 $1,541,000 (Total: $80,151,000)

7 7 Insidious $972,000 (Total: $7,820,000)
