P.J. Starks (writer/director of HALLOWS EVE: SLAUGHTER ON SECOND STREET), is the current Associate Producer of the indie horror film from writer/director Jakob Bilinski (SHADE OF GREY, OBSOLESCENCE) called THREE TEARS ON BLOODSTAINED FLESH. Jakob recently directed the ‘behind-the-scenes’ feature length documentary PERCEIVING REALITY: THE MAKING OF SCALENE for Zack Parker’s SCALENE starring Margo Martindale & Hanna Hall.
Below is the synopsis for THREE TEARS:
THREE TEARS ON BLOODSTAINED FLESH is a modern, Midwesternized spin on the giallo. It tells the tale of a man with a sordid past who returns to the small town he’s long since abandoned to bury his niece. Convinced she was murdered, he begins digging around the town and in the process uncovers their dark secrets, which include a deranged cult and a high body count.
THREE TEARS stars Bill Gobin, Jim Dougherty (SCALENE), Kayla Crance (EAST OF NOWHERE), Angela Steele (IDIOT GORE), Scott Ganyo (SHADE OF GREAY, OBSOLESCENCE), Rosalind Rubin (12 ROUNDS, CLEANER) and Jim O’Rear (DAY OF THE DEAD, PSYCHO IV). The film began shooting this week and I was just working on spreading the word.
