Cover Art For ‘2-Headed Shark Attack,’ and 2-Gory Stills

Pictured to the left is the cover art for The Asylum’s latest creature feature, 2-Headed Shark Attack. Yeah, just yeah… 2-Headed Shark Attack is set to hit DVD, Blu-ray, and VOD on January 17, 2012. If the first B-movie we get in 2012 features Carmen Electra and Brooke Hogan in bikinis, then it’s safe to say we are off to a good start. The film will also star The Bachelor star Charlie O’Connell and features cameos from Emmy Award winning Christopher Lloyd (Back To The Future) and Ving Rhames (Dawn of The Dead remake). Here’s what I found about the plot: “A Semester at Sea ship is attacked and sunk by a mutated two-headed shark, and the survivors seek refuge on a deserted atoll. The coeds, however, are no longer safe when the atoll starts flooding.” I have no idea what an atoll is, so for anyone who said “atoll, huh?” it’s a floating coral island.

The Asylum is recognized as a B-movie company that produces mock films and original low-budget movies including Snakes On A Train and Mega Piranha. Carmen Electra is most known for her long career in television and film, Baywatch in particular, and for her numerous spreads in Playboy magazine. Brooke Hogan is most known as iconic wrestler Hulk Hogan’s daughter and her top 30 hit, “About Us,” in 2006.

Here’s hoping we will see a trailer soon! Don’t forget to pick up your copy of 2-Headed Shark Attack on January 17, 2012. But for now, check out two gory stills from production below.
