Movie sales, DVD sales, and television viewership for the week of November 25 to December 2.
With the new Twilight saga in full force, and the other four movies in the top 5 at the Box Office kicking ass as well, all of the theaters are probably making room for these blockbusters. This is going to continue to kill all the horror/scifi films that are still receiving small screenings. About 75% of the horror/scifi films have died out since Twilight came out.
1 1 Twilight/Dawn 1 $51,242,000 (Total: $230,390,000)
18 15 Real Steel $391,000 (Total: $83,241,000)
21 13 Paranormal Activity 3 $341,000 (Total: $103,311,000)
31 28 Contagion $200,000 (Total: $75,495,000)
77 85 Tucker & Dale vs Evil $1,000 (Total: $223,000)
The DVD Top 30 chart is way up compared to previous weeks with 66% of all films being selling over a million copies this week. This could be due to holiday sales. The last Harry Potter film is still the top dog, and latest Pirates film debuts pretty decently.
1 1 Harry Potter/Hallows 2 $26,229,000 (Total: $59,258,000)
2 Pirates/Tides $8,170,000
6 10 Twilight/Eclipse $3,183,000 (Total: $153,856,000)
8 21 Transformers/Moon $2,197,000 (Total: $35,248,000)
11 N/A Twilight/Moon $1,696,000 (Total: $175,662,000)
18 N/A Twilight $1,058,000 (Total: $196,474,000)

24 11 Harry Potter/Prince $480,000 (Total: $117,764,000)
The Vampire Diaries, The Secret Circle, and Grimm are still on their holiday hiatus. The Walking Dead pulled in a big increase in viewers for its winter finale. Sanctuary sees its lowest episode yet, while the season finale of Fact or Faked saw its highest for this season. No numbers for Scare Tactics as this season is tanking…
