Sweet Home Films LLC has completed their horror feature film ‘Blood Rush’ and is preparing for its private screening on Sunday 29th April in Hollwood (CA).
Sweet Home Films achieved this ninety minute film using their own money, three crew members and a lot of enthusiasm to create a horror inspired alternate reality. They shot for a total of 28 days in eight different locations with sixteen cast and a host of zombies/afflicted.
Blood Rush is very much in the vien of the cult 70s/80s movies like ‘Bad Taste’ and ‘Evil Dead’, following the slight tounge in cheek elements found in many George Romero films.
Directed by Evan Marlowe and written/produced by his partner Kerry Finlayson.
Synopsis: When a small town is overcome with a blood lust, the local Witch Doctor is thought to be the source. What they don’t know is that he has a different agenda…. no one is safe from a town full of flesh hungry monsters.

Sweet Home Films is already in pre-production on their next feature, ‘Horror House’, written and Produced by Kerry Finlayson and Directed by Evan Marlowe.
