Box office numbers, DVD sales, and television viewership for the week of April 20 to April 26, 2012.
The Cabin In The Woods remains one of the top ten films at the box office this week. It’s shaping up to be one of the biggest horror hits of the year so far. I really need to go see it, damnit! This will probably be Keyhole‘s last week in theaters as it barely made $100.
6 3 The Cabin In The Woods $10,933,000 (Total: $30,163,000)
36 31 Chronicle $135,000 (Total: $64,340,000)
48 46 The Woman In Black $61,000 (Total: $54,293,000)
52 47 Silent House $54,000 (Total: $12,738,000)
95 88 Keyhole $100 (Total: $12,250)
The Darkest Hour is also in the top ten in terms of DVD sales this week. It comes in at #6, actually, and will hopefully hold out long enough to keep Twilight from being the ‘sole survivor.’
6 The Darkest Hour $2,034,000
16 22 Twilight/Dawn 1 $637,000 (Total: $90,339,000)
Why is Fact or Faked doing so poorly? I remember it was one of the most watched shows on SyFy before this season. At least Grimm has been renewed for season two even tho NBC tried its best to kill the series.
